Batt Participates in the “DeVenir” Half Marathon in Rochefort
On Sunday, April 19th, the 4th annual “DeVenir” Half Marathon took place in Rochefort, organized over the weekend of April 18th and 19th by the running section of the Airbus Atlantic Works Council.
This year’s event brought together more than 4,200 participants across two races: the 10K and the half marathon, demonstrating the enthusiasm for this sporting and charitable event.
A Mobilization in Support of Charitable Causes
Co-organized with sailor Violette Dorange, a Rochefort native, the “DeVenir” Half Marathon has had a strong charitable focus since its inception.
Over the years, the event has raised more than €21,000 for various charities, including the Grégory Lemarchal Association, Ovale de l’Espoir, and Familles en Fêtes.
This year, €15,000 was raised for Apprentis d’Auteuil, to support the Maison de la Parentalité at the MECS des Gonds, in partnership with Violette Dorange.
